Position Details:

The candidate should have experience in corporate sales/business development for atleast 10 years. He/She should be comfortable selling to CXO level personnel. Exposure to selling training or related products and services is highly desirable. The candidate should be a number oriented person and should be able to drive sales under all circumstances. He/she should have experience in creating sales plans, setting up sales teams and managing them by numbers. As the business grows, he/she will need to set up multi-city sales teams in India and abroad. He/she should be self-driven and should be able to work with minimal directions.


Basic Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure sales targets are met and exceeded under all circumstances
• Create sales plans and drive them
• Understand clients’ requirements and offer a suitable training solution to them.
• Hire a sales team, set up goals/targets for them and manage them to meet sales targets.
• Be willing to travel as and when required to various cities in India or abroad
• Manage client relationships and, in case of any operational problems and be ready to handle tough situations.
• Research newspapers, magazines, trade journals for prospective clients
• Keep up to date about news on the latest practices and theories in the learning and development space.
• Provide feedback to OnTrac on new business opportunities with existing or new clients
• Convince clients to institutionalize OnTrac’s programs within their companies.
• Organize resources and participate in industry events



Qualifications/Work Experience:


Candidate should be a graduate in any field. An MBA from a reputed institute is desirable. Total work experience of the candidate should be atleast 10 years. He/she should have held senior positions in sales and business development functions dealing with (corporate selling) in reputed companies. Exposure to business development in training and training related products/services is highly desirable. He/she should have managed teams, should be able to work under pressure and with tight targets.
