a. Powerpoint presentations: Power
point presentations are commonly used by trainers to conduct
classes. OnTrac creates these presentations as part of the content
development effort. The final files typically use the
client’s
logos, standards and look & feel.
b.
Instructors’ guides: These
are guides provided to the client’s trainers that will enable
them to learn and conduct future training programs. Guides typically
contain the theory behind the content being delivered. They also
contain the delivery methodology, examples, tips and tricks that help
the trainer.
c.
Participants’ workbooks:
These are “take aways” for participants who will
undergo
the training program. These workbooks contain learnings from the
program, tools and methodologies participants can use in their
workplace.
d. Pre and
Post Assessments: Pre-assessments
are conducted before the training program begins. Scores from the
pre-assessments are measured against the post assessments to get the
gain ration, which is an indication of the increase in learning by
participants during the program.
e.
Instructional components: OnTrac develops various
instructional components that increase the effectiveness of training
program. Such components include:
o Case Studies
o Examples
o Games and Simulations
o Multi Media components including audios and videos
o Individual and group activities
f. Post
program follow up mechanism:
A weakness in majority of training programs is that participants are
not able to implement their learnings at their workplace. Also, their
immediate managers are not involved in the training and can therefore
not leverage their team member’s new skills. OnTrac has solid
expertise in creating post training follow up mechanisms that allow
participants to implement their learning, keep the managers and senior
management involved in the entire process.
g. Tools and
methodologies: OnTrac has expertise in developing tools
and methodologies that help participants implement their learning.
h. Train the
Trainer (TTT): Post
content development, OnTrac works with the client to build expertise in
its training team to conduct the training program. The entire TTT is
planned as a separate project, with pre-work and trainer evaluations as
part of the methodology.
i.
Measurement of Training Effectiveness: OnTrac
builds tools and mechanisms for clients to measure training
effectiveness. OnTrac uses the industry standard Kirkpatrics 4 levels
of measuring effectiveness.
